This Privacy Policy explains how SaveAnyLink (www.saveanylink.com) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our free Instagram downloader tools. SaveAnyLink provides six browser-based utilities: Instagram Story Viewer, Highlights Viewer & Downloader, Reel Downloader, Video Downloader, Post Downloader, and Insta DP Downloader. Each tool processes public Instagram content at your request — you paste a link or enter a public username, preview media in your browser, and optionally download files to your device.

We designed SaveAnyLink around minimal data collection. You do not create a SaveAnyLink account. We do not ask for your Instagram username and password. We do not require you to log in to Instagram on our website. This policy describes the limited technical information we may process to operate the service, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

By using SaveAnyLink, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

When you submit an Instagram URL or search a public @username, that input is sent to our servers so we can retrieve the corresponding public media metadata and file URLs from Instagram’s content delivery network. We process the link or handle solely to fulfill your request — for example, to list stories on a profile, load a reel preview, or fetch a full-size profile picture. We do not use submitted usernames to build marketing profiles or sell lists of people you search.

Like most websites, we automatically receive certain technical data when you visit SaveAnyLink. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, and general device characteristics. We use this information to deliver pages, enforce rate limits, diagnose errors, and protect against automated abuse such as scraping at scale or denial-of-service attempts.

If we enable third-party analytics or advertising in the future, those providers may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device. Where required by law, we will disclose such partners in an updated version of this policy and, where applicable, provide consent controls. You can also manage or block cookies through your browser settings at any time.

SaveAnyLink is not a social network and does not offer user registration. We do not collect your name, email address, postal address, or phone number unless you voluntarily contact us and choose to share that information. We never ask for your Instagram password, two-factor codes, or session cookies from the official Instagram app.

We do not access private Instagram accounts. If a profile is private, our tools cannot retrieve its stories, posts, reels, highlights, or profile picture beyond what Instagram exposes to anonymous visitors — which is typically nothing. We do not bypass Instagram privacy settings, and we do not offer “private profile viewer” functionality.

We do not permanently host Instagram media for public redistribution. Files are requested from Instagram’s infrastructure and streamed to your browser for preview and download. We do not claim ownership of photos, videos, or other content you view through SaveAnyLink.

We use collected information to operate and improve SaveAnyLink. Primary uses include: processing your URL or username searches; returning previews and download links; applying fair rate limits so the service remains available to all users; detecting and blocking malicious traffic; maintaining server logs for security and debugging; and complying with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. We do not use your search history to send targeted email campaigns because we do not operate a mailing list tied to anonymous browser sessions. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics — such as total requests per day or which tools are most used — may help us plan capacity and prioritize features.

If we receive a valid legal request from law enforcement or a court with jurisdiction, we may disclose limited log data as required by law. We will review such requests carefully and disclose only what is legally necessary.

SaveAnyLink may use essential cookies or local storage required for basic site functionality, such as remembering UI preferences or protecting against cross-site request forgery. These are typically session-scoped or short-lived.

Optional analytics cookies, if enabled, help us understand how visitors navigate between our six Instagram tools — for example, whether users arrive from search for “instagram reel downloader” versus “insta story viewer.” Analytics data is used in aggregate form and is not combined with Instagram credentials because we do not collect them.

You can clear cookies and site data through your browser. Blocking all cookies may affect some convenience features but core paste-link and username search workflows should still function in modern browsers with JavaScript enabled.

SaveAnyLink retrieves public media from Instagram’s servers when you request content. Your browser may connect directly to Instagram content delivery network URLs to display images and videos or to download MP4 and JPG files. Those requests are subject to Instagram’s own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for Instagram’s data handling on their domains.

Our website may be served through a hosting provider and content delivery network that process IP addresses and request metadata as part of delivering pages worldwide. We select infrastructure providers that maintain industry-standard security practices.

If we embed third-party scripts — for example, for payment-free analytics or error monitoring — those vendors process data according to their own privacy policies. We aim to minimize the number of third parties and to avoid sharing unnecessary personal information with them.

Server logs containing IP addresses and request details are retained for a limited period necessary for security, abuse investigation, and troubleshooting — typically on the order of days to a few weeks unless a longer retention period is required for an active incident or legal hold. We do not maintain a permanent archive of every username or URL you have ever searched.

Cached responses on our servers, if any, are short-lived and used only to reduce duplicate load on upstream services. Cache entries are not intended for long-term storage of Instagram content.

When retention periods expire, logs and temporary caches are deleted or anonymized according to our operational procedures.

We use HTTPS encryption between your browser and SaveAnyLink to protect data in transit. Our infrastructure is configured with access controls, patching, and monitoring appropriate for a public web application.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect information processed through SaveAnyLink, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe you have discovered a vulnerability, please contact us through the channels listed on this site so we can investigate promptly.

You are responsible for securing your own device and network. Downloaded files are stored locally on your device under your control.

SaveAnyLink is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information where feasible.

Parents and guardians should supervise minors’ use of the internet and social media tools. Downloading or viewing content from Instagram may be subject to Instagram’s age requirements and local laws.

SaveAnyLink is operated from the United States and may be accessed globally. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Because most usage is anonymous and we do not maintain user accounts, we may not be able to identify you from a browser session alone. If you contact us with sufficient detail (such as approximate date, time, and tool used), we will make reasonable efforts to locate and address relevant log entries.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what categories of information are collected and the right to opt out of sale — note that we do not sell personal information as defined by those laws.

Many users visit our Instagram Story Viewer and Highlights tools to browse public content without logging into Instagram. When you use SaveAnyLink without an Instagram session, you do not authenticate as an Instagram user on our site. This is different from viewing stories inside the official app while logged in, where Instagram may record views.

“Anonymous” in our marketing refers to not requiring your Instagram login on SaveAnyLink and not offering a SaveAnyLink account that tracks your identity. It does not guarantee that Instagram or network intermediaries see zero technical data — standard web requests still occur between your device and content servers.

We do not provide tools to hide your identity from law enforcement or to violate Instagram’s terms. Use public-content tools responsibly and lawfully.

We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our tools, legal requirements, or business practices. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of SaveAnyLink after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
