SaveAnyLink is designed for one clear task: helping you access downloadable versions of media that is already publicly available on supported platforms. It does not ask you to connect a social account, and it does not claim to unlock private profiles. The experience is organised around clear tool choices, short instructions and transparent limitations.
Paste a supported link into the homepage field and SaveAnyLink can route you to the relevant platform tool. If a link contains an unsupported media type, choose the matching tool from the platform list.
Stories, Reels, videos, posts, images and profile pictures behave differently. A separate page for each task makes it easier to understand what is supported and what result to expect.
You should never need to provide your Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Pinterest or Threads password to use SaveAnyLink. The tools are intended for public content only.
SaveAnyLink offers the media quality made available by the source. It does not promise artificial 4K upscaling or label a low-resolution source as HD.
Use the tools in a current mobile or desktop browser without installing a SaveAnyLink app or extension. Download behaviour may vary by browser and device settings.
Private profiles, friends-only posts, deleted media, expired stories, age restrictions and regional restrictions may prevent a result. SaveAnyLink does not bypass those controls.
The basic process is the same across supported platforms:
Open the post, Reel, video or Pin on the original platform. Use its Share or menu option to copy the public URL. For profile-based tools, copy the username or public profile address.
Return to SaveAnyLink, paste the link into the homepage field and select Get Media. The site will detect the supported platform and open the relevant tool. You can also choose a tool manually.
Review the media returned by the tool, then use the visible download button to save the available MP4 or image file to your device. Always confirm that you have the right to keep or reuse the content.
Start with the platform, then match the tool to the media type. An Instagram Story is different from a saved Highlight, and a Facebook Reel may use a different link pattern from a standard Facebook video. Using the correct page prevents empty results and gives you instructions that match the content.
For active Instagram Stories, use the Instagram Story Viewer. Stories normally disappear from the platform after their availability period; saved albums belong in the Highlights Downloader.
For Instagram short-form clips, use the Reels Downloader. For another supported Instagram video link, use the Video Downloader. Photos and carousel posts belong in the Post Downloader.
For Facebook, choose between the standard Video Downloader and the Reel Downloader based on the link you copied.
For Pinterest, select the Video Downloader for a video Pin and the Image Downloader for a photo Pin.
For profile pictures, use the platform-specific DP or profile picture tool rather than a post or video downloader.
The quality of a downloaded file depends on what the original platform makes available for that public item. SaveAnyLink can pass through an available source file, but it cannot restore detail that is not present in the source. SaveAnyLink does not add its own watermark; any existing creator or platform watermark remains part of the original media.
Supported videos are generally provided as MP4 files. Photos, carousel items and profile pictures are generally provided as JPG or another image format served by the source. A multi-image post may require each item to be saved separately.
SaveAnyLink is designed for modern browsers on phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers. On mobile devices, a file may open in a preview before you save it. On desktop browsers, it will usually appear in your normal Downloads folder. Your device, browser permissions and storage settings control the final save location.
Clear limits protect users, creators and the platforms where the original media appears.
SaveAnyLink supports media that can be accessed publicly. It does not bypass private accounts, followers-only access, friends-only posts, login requirements or other platform privacy controls. Avoid any service that asks for a social password while promising hidden or private content.
Do not enter your social media password into SaveAnyLink. For details about submitted links, technical logs, cookies and data handling, read the Privacy Policy.
The person or organisation that created the media may own copyright or other rights in it. Download only content you created, content you have permission to use, or content you are otherwise legally allowed to save. Public availability does not automatically give permission to republish, sell, edit or redistribute a file. Review the Terms of Service before using the tools.

Videos are generally offered as MP4 files, while photos and profile pictures are generally offered as JPG or another image format supplied by the source. The exact format and quality depend on the media made available by the platform.
SaveAnyLink does not place its own logo or watermark on downloaded files. Existing watermarks or branding included in the original media remain part of that media.
The post may be private, deleted, expired, age-restricted, region-restricted or unsupported. Confirm that the link opens publicly in a logged-out browser, copy a fresh link and make sure you selected the correct tool for the platform and media type.

Use the Story Viewer for active stories, the Highlights Downloader for saved Highlight albums, the Reels Downloader for Reels, the Video Downloader for video links, the Post Downloader for photos or carousels, and the DP Downloader for profile pictures.
That depends on the content, your location and how you plan to use the file. Download only media you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise legally allowed to save. Public visibility does not remove copyright or other rights.
SaveAnyLink uses submitted information to process the requested public media. Review the Privacy Policy for the current details about technical logs, cookies, data handling and retention.
Paste a supported public link into SaveAnyLink to open the relevant downloader, or browse the platform tools above when you already know the media type you need.
